Praise-El Schools commenced operation in October 2007 with crèche services. Early Years services which include education and care of the very young (EYFS), began operations in 2009 and Primary school services (KS1 and 2 ) in 2012. Praise El High School was birthed precisely almost a decade after in 2021 as the whole world was returning from lock down to afford our yearning primary school products experience the Praise El brand at a higher or older level of education. Praise-El is a unique school that is endowed with very rich learning environment that aims at making learning exciting for learners. Our rich background in quality child care is topnotch because we believe that the foundation is critical if development and learning will be enjoyable and productive. We look out not just to care for the children, but to educate, nurture, inspire and groom as well. Praise-El Infant Junior & High Sc hool moved into her permanent place of abode in 2014. Praise-El Schools also known as Praise-El Infant, Junior and High Schools, is located at 11 Doxa Road and has been creating exceptional learning experiences for learners for over 16 years. In 2023/24, the school received the accreditation to be a Cambridge partner school along with being NECO AND WAEC examination certified centres. With a vision of helping every child attain their highest and boundless potential, which can only be achieved by creating excellent systems that enhance learning, we engage educators who implement creative and innovative teac hing methods. Every lesson conducted is facilitated and supported by the application of state-of-the-art technology. Our laboratories are fully equipped. NCE – ENGLISH LANGUAGE (DOUBLE MAJOR), BA.ED ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MA.ED (IN VIEW). OVER 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE (at both Nursery/Primary and Secondary levels). A dynamic leader who is both people and result oriented. A passionate, compassionate, resourceful, and dynamic teacher who stops at nothing to see that every learner makes notable and consistent progress in both character and learning.
Aderonke is a passionate educator who has her way around children and has helped many children discover and grow to their full potential. She has a B. Sc in Management, a B.Ed in Computer Science Education, and an NCE in Computer Science. She has had different trainings like Montessori training, Time Management, Classroom Management, Multiple Intelligences, etc. Aderonke boasts of more than 17 years of teaching experience in both government and private schools. For Aderonke, teaching is a passion and a chosen way of life.
Henryson Onyema is an excellent facilitator, a highly capable school administrator, and a professional English Language teacher who is dedicated to helping students attain their full potential. Henryson has a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature, a PGDE, and many certifications. He is also a certified SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Checkpoint, and IGCSE instructor. With over 15 years experience in the High School academic setting, and an exceptional understanding of the curriculum. Henryson enjoys writing, reading, and listening to music. He strongly believes that from the ordinary we can achieve the extraordinary.
Our Services.
- Child Care Services: Operational throughout the 12 calendar months and it comprises of crèche and afterschool care. Babies are started off in a very rich environment that stirs their curiosity, introducing them to self-discovery. Our after-school care program is open to parents who may have a need for the facility. This service is open to parents from outside our school
- Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS): Our classes in EYFS comprises the Playgroup, Pre-School, Nursery, and Reception classes where we ensure that a solid and qualitative foundation at the pre-primary level is laid, armed with the understanding and need to transition from babyhood to an active toddler learner and at the conclusion of all these classes, a child is ready to soar.
- Keystage 1 and 2: After EYFS comes the KS 1 and KS 2 (Primary 1-6 )Education and our learners at the end of this level of education are ready to take on any secondary school’s entrance examination. School.
- High School: Our high school, a Cambridge associate school, offers state-of-the-art classrooms equipped with the latest educational tools which are dedicated to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and holistic development of all our students.
